To kick us off we’re meeting Jon Harris, Sino’s New Business Manager. Jon is based within the UK but travels regularly to the Sino factory in Shenzhen.
What was your first job?
Newspaper delivery boy

Negotiating a £50 million contract
What would be your dream job if you weren’t in manufacturing?
Fighter pilot… ‘I feel the need… for speed’

When you were a child what did you want to be?
Like my dad… a ‘business man’ (although I didn’t have a clue what he actually did!)
What’s the strangest job you’ve ever done?
Concrete post and wall maker, in a open sided factory unit, in the middle of nowhere. It seemed like a good idea until my first shift, in the middle of winter, at 5.30 in the morning. Back breaking, cold, wet and miserable.
It was a short term thing…
